White Cedar Wellness Clinic have mindfully and confidently put protocols and procedures in place to ensure the health and safety of both clients and staff.

We are in accordance with the Public Health Office orders regarding COVID Policies and the requirement of our staff and participants to be fully vaccinated.  Our outline and procedures for both the clinic are updated regularly as new information is released from the Public Health Office.

• MASKS: Masks are available at the clinic front desk if needed.
  • In Clinic: For an appointment in the clinic please wear a mask at all times during your appointment.
  • In Studio: For a class in our Sitka Studio, please wear your mask while in the studio until you get to your mat.  You may remove your mask once on your mat and for the duration of class.
• CAPACITY: The studio can accommodate 20 spots per class.  Social distancing is practiced inside all common areas of the building. Please pre-register for classes to secure your place.
• SHIELDS: Mandated by WorkSafeBC, a Plexiglass shield is in place at the clinic front desk.
• STUDIO CLASSES:
  • Be symptom-free. Please do not attend a class if you are feeling unwell with any COVID-19 symptoms such as fever, dry cough, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath, chest pain or pressure. We ask that you take a moment to do a quick self-assessment before arriving. If you are experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms, please contact your local healthcare services.
  • It is highly recommended that you bring only the essentials. Come dressed for class and bring a full water bottle.
  • You will be asked to show your Vaccine Passport. Your Vaccine Passport and ID will be checked upon entry and your status stored in your account for future visits, eliminating the need to show it at each visit.
• VIRTUAL CLASSES: Select classes are offered virtually if participants wish to stay in the comfort of their home. They will be live streamed at the same time as the in studio class.
• PAYMENT: We accept Debit and Credit cards as well as Interac E-transfers. If those payment options are not available to you, please call us to discuss alternative options.
• HAND CLEANING: Hand sanitizer is provided throughout the studio.  Two washrooms with liquid hand soap are available for use.
• STUDIO CLEANING:
  • Spray bottles with a disinfectant are provided in the studio to wipe down mats and props. Please use towels provided.  Blankets and towels used during classes will be washed after each use by studio staff.
  • A full studio clean is done regularly with cleaning being done as necessary.
• VACCINE PASSPORTS: You will be asked to show your Vaccine Passport. Your Vaccine Passport and ID will be checked upon entry and your status stored in your account for future visits, eliminating the need to show it at each visit.
